Velocity of light in glass = 2×108 ms1
Velocity of light in air =3×108 ms1
Critical angle is found from ng=1sin(ic)
where ng is the velocity of light in air, na is the velocity of light in glass.
1sin(ic)=ngna=3×1082×108=1.5
sin ic=11.5ic=sin1(11.5)=42
