From the graph we have
at t =0
Velocity of particle (V1)=20ms1
KE1=12mv21=12×2×20×20
=400J
Now,
at t = 2 sec.
Velocity of particle (V2)=0
KE2=0
From, work - energy theorem
Work done by all forces (W) is equal to the change in kinetic enery (ΔKE) of the body.
i.e. W=ΔKE
W=KE2KE1
=0400
W=400J
