The relation between acceleration (a) and displacement(s) is expressed as:
a=vdvds.............(i)
Hence, at any value of s the, acceleration is given by:
a=v× (slope of (vs) graph)
where, v= velocity at that position.
(Slope of graph)s=10 m=100515=1 slope of graph is -ve and constant for s=5 m to s=15 m
From graph
vs=10 m=5 m/s
a=(vs=10 m)×(Slope of graph)s=10 m
a=5×1=5 m/s2
