Vellu still felt as though he was on the moving train because his legs felt wobbly. This is because his body was in motion for a long time in the moving train and suddenly it came to a state of rest.
He was feeling miserable as he hadn’t eaten anything besides some peanuts and a piece of jaggery. This was because he had just run away from his village.
