$Commutative property of addition of rational numbers states that the sum of 2 rational numbers does not depend on the order in which they are added . If a and b are 2 rational numbers, then a + b = b + a . Now, the given rational numbers are - \frac{4}{3} and \frac{3}{7} . Now, (- \frac{4}{3}) + \frac{3}{7} = \frac{(- 28) + 9}{21} = - \frac{19}{21} Now, \frac{3}{7} + (- \frac{4}{3}) = \frac{9 + (- 28)}{21} = - \frac{19}{21} Hence, commutative law is verified .$
