For any $a$ to be a zero of a polynomial $f (x)$ ,

$f (a) = 0$

$∴ f (- 2) = - 16 - 12 + 22 + 6 = 0$

$f (\frac{1}{2}) = \frac{1}{4} - \frac{3}{4} - \frac{11}{2} + 6 = 0$

$∴ - 2 a n d \frac{1}{2}$ are zeroes of the given equation.
