Given, p(x)=(x2)(x5).

We know, a is a zero of f(x), only if f(a)=0.

Here, p(2)=(22)(25)=0×3=0 and
p(5)=(52)(55)=3×0=0.
Since, p(2)=0 and p(5)=0,
both 2 and 5 are zeroes of p(x).
Therefore, hence verified.
