Verify whether the indicated numbers are zeros of the polynomials corresponding to them in the following cases:

(vi) $f (x) = x^{2}, x = 0$

Given : $f (x) = x^{2}, x = 0$

We know that if $f (a) = 0;$ then $a$ is the zero of the polynomial $f (x)$ .

$∴ f (0) = (0)^{2} = 0$

$∵ f (0) = 0$

Hence, $x = 0$ is the zero of $f (x) = x^{2},$ verified.
