Solution

Points : 1 Mark each

x + 3y – 6 = 0

1.Putting (0, 2) in the equation
0+(3×2)6=0
The equation holds. Hence the line passes through (0, 2)

2. Putting (3, 3) in the equation
3+(3×3)6=60
The equation does not hold. Hence the line does not pass through (3, 3)

3.Putting (2, 4) in the equation
2+(3×4)6=80
The equation does not hold. Hence the line does not pass through (2, 4)

4.Putting (4, 1) in the equation
4+(3×1)6=10
The equation does not hold. Hence the line does not pass through (4, 1)
