The correct option is D $9 \frac{1}{11} %$ less than Verma

Let Akbar get $10$ units.
Varma gets $10$ units + $10 \times \frac{10}{100}$ $=$ $11$ units
Akbar thus got $1$ unit less.
Akbar's percentage loss as compared to varma = $\frac{11 - 10}{11}$ $\times 100$
= $\frac{1}{11}$ $\times 100$
= $9 \frac{1}{11}$ % less than Verma
