When a partnership firm ceases to exist, the partnership firm is said to be dissolved. Section 39 lays down that, " The dissolution of partnership between all partners of a firm is called the dissolution of a firm." In the dissolution of partnership firm, there is complete breakdown or extinction of the relationship of partnership between all partners of the partnership firm.
