Solution

Endocrine gland Exocrine gland
These glands do not discharge their secretions through glands. Their secretions directly reach the bloodstream. They are also known as ductless glands. Their secretions are hormones. Example: thyroid gland, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, pineal gland, etc. Exocrine glands discharge their secretions through ducts. Their secretions reach body surface and are mostly composed of enzymes and salts. Examples are sebaceous glands, lacrimal gland, salivary gland, etc.
