Vibrations in a body produces sound. How do you prove it?

Body vibrates and it reaches us through the vibrations of the particle of surrounding medium.The sound requires a medium for propagation the medium of the body produce vibration in the particle of surrounding medium which travels in the form of wave with a certain speed depending upon the density.
