1.Hand Picking: (grains taken from the field may contain various impurities such as piece of stone, husk etc)

2.Threshing: (to separate grain form bundles of wheat)

3.Winnowing: (separation of lighter husk from the grains)

4.Sieving: (removing impurities and bran that may be present in the flour )
