Open in App
Solution

x2+3y=11x+6y=22 ...(i) x+5y =20 ....(ii) Subtracting eq (ii) from (i), we get: x+6y= 22 x+5y =20 - - - y = 2y=2Substituting y=2 in (i), we get: x+6×2=22 x=22-12x=10Hence, x=10, y=2 is the solution of the given equations.
