Let, cost of 10 crayons be ₹ d.

$\Rightarrow$ 4 : 16 :: 10 : d

Product of means = Product of extremes
$\Rightarrow$ 16 $\times$ 10 = 4 $\times$ d

$\Rightarrow$ d = $\frac{160}{4}$

$\Rightarrow$ d = 40
