$\therefore$ Increased weight of Vikash $=$ Weight of Vikash in this month $-$ Weight of Vikash in last month

$=54kg-48kg$

$=6kg$

Step 2:- Finding a percentage increase in his weight:-

We know that,

Increased $\%$ $=\frac{Increasedinvalue}{Originalvalue}\times 100$

$=\frac{6}{48}\times 100\%$

$=\frac{600}{48}\%$

$=12.5\%$ $\because$ On dividing $600$ by $48$

Hence, Increased $\%$in his weight $=12.5\%$
