Na2CO3 . 10 H2O Heat Na2CO3 + 10 H2OCalculate the molecular mass of washing soda and sodium carbonate.Mol mass of Na2CO3= (2 ×23 + 1 × 12 + 3 ×16) = 106 gWashing soda mol.mass = (2 × 23 + 1 ×12 + 3 × 16 + 10 × 18) = 286 gThus 286 g of washing soda gives 106 g of Sodium carbonate.57.2 g of washing soda gives = ? = 106286 × 57.2 = 21.2 g
