Solution

Step 1; Find number of books sold by Wasim.

Let, a =15 and b = 10

Then, a ×b =15×10 …………..(1)

Number of books sold by Wasim.=15×10

Step 2; Find number of books sold by Akram.

Let, a =15 and b = 10

Then, b × a =10×15 ……………..(2)

Number of books sold by Akram =10×15

Step 3 Compare

From equation (1) and (2)

a ×b = b × a

We, notice that in both the cases the multiplication is carried out by multiplying the numbers 15 and 10

So, the result is same.

Thus, Wasim and Akram sold the same number of books

and Commutative property of Multiplication is used.
