Watee is filled in a conical flask up to a height of 20cm. If the radius of the base is 14 cm, find the force exerted on the bottom of the flask.

Dear Student ,
Here in this question the height and radius of the 20 cm and 14 cm of a conical flask .
So the area of the base of the conical flask is , A = π142=615·75 cm2
Therefore , the volume of the water = 13πr2×h=13×A×L=13×615·75×20=4105 cm3
Now we know that the density of water is ρ=1 g/cc
So , the force exerted by the water at the bottom of the conical flask is ,
F =Mg=V×ρ×g=4105×1×980=4·023×106 dyne
