water and air are poor conductors of heat,and heat transfer in these mediums takes place by the process of convection.What does it mean?

Hi,

Water and air is a bad conductor of heat. So they can't be heat by means of conduction. Water and air are heated by means of convection in which molecules near by them gets heated and rises up which set up convection current. Convection current flows till all the medium particles gets heated due to which water and air gets heated.
