Steam at 100 degree Celsius has more heat. So the statement is false.

Steam causes severe burns than water. Particles in steam, that is, water vapour at 373 K (100oC) have more energy than boiling water at the same temperature as particles in steam have absorbed extra energy in the form of latent heat of vaporisation.
