Water is added to the atmosphere by which of the following natural processes:-
Combustion of fuels
Transpiration by plants
Respiration by living organisms
Water is added to the atmosphere by natural processes such as:-
(a) Combustion of fuels:- Burning of fuels in presence of oxygen produces carbon dioxide, water, and heat/light energy
Example:- CH4(g)+O2(g) → CO2(g)+H2O(g)+heat and light
(b) Respiration by living organisms:- When living organisms respire (inhale oxygen) then glucose breakdowns into carbon dioxide, water, and energy (ATP)
C6H12O6(s)+6O2(g) → 6CO2(g)+6H2O(g)+Energy
(c) Transpiration by plants:- It is evaporation of water from the plant leaf.
While condensation is not the source of water addition to nature but a process that converts water vapour to water.
