Water is discharged from a pipe of the cross-section is 3.2 cm2 at the speed of 5m/s. Calculate the volume in litres per minute.

Pipe's corss-section =3.14r2=3.2cm2
Water is discharged at the speed of 5m/s=500 cm in 1 second
So, in 1 min 500×60=30000cm
So, height =30000cm
So, volume of water discharged in 1 sec, V=πr2h
V=3.2×30000
V=96000cm3
Now, 1000cm3=1litre
So, V=96000cm3=960001000Litre=96litre
