Given:

λ=50 g/m

After small displacement x


The weight of the liquid column of length 2x in U tube will provide a restoring force to the liquid

Restoring force on liquid,

Frestoring=λg(2x)

Also, a=Frestoringm

a=λg(2x)λ(2H)

a=gHx

On comparing with simple harmonic motion, a=ω2x

ω=gH

T=2πHg

T=2π210

So that time period

T=2π15

=2π0.2

T=2.8 s

Hence, option (B) is correct.
