The correct option is B 2×103m
Let Velocity of water stream Qm below the tap be V
V2=U2+2as
V2=(0.4)2+2×9.8×2
V=6.274m/s
From Continuity Theorem,
π(4×103)×0.4=6.274×πr2
r=1.0099×103
So, diameter of the water stream =2r
=2×1.0099×103
=2×103m
