2. This is because glaciers are nothing but the frozen rivers at the high altitude.
3. Since the temperature is very low at these high altitudes,water freezes and forms glaciers.
4. When warm weather comes,there is a rise in temperature,so glaciers melt and flow down in the rivers. Like Ganga river is coming from Gangotri glacier.
