Lets identify the rule for $L$:

for $1L=2=2\times 1$ matchsticks.

for $2L=4=2\times 2$ matchsticks.

for $3L=6=2\times 3$ matchsticks.

For $n$ number of $L$'s $=2\times n=2n$ matchsticks..

So, the rule for pattern of $L$ is $2n$.

Similarly, the rule for pattern of $C$ is $3n$

the rule for pattern of $F$ is $4n$

Here, $n$ is a natural number.

The letters $T$ and $V$ have the pattern $2n$.

Since $2$ matchsticks are used in all these letters.
