We are required to form different words with the help of letters of the word INTEGER. Let m1 be the number of words in which I and N are never together and m2 be the number of words which begin with I and with R, then prove that m1/m2=30

Total number of words =7!2!

Total number of words in which I and N never together=6!2!×2!

m1= Total together

=7!2!6!=52×6!

m2=numberofword=5!2!
m1m2=52×6!×2!5!=6×5=30.
