Question

We can pass our hand easily through water but not through an almirah. Give reasons.

Solution

Because in case of almirah the constituent particles have very strong intermolecular force and is very rigid. Whereas in case of water, the intermolecular forces are weaker and are loosely held and hence we can pass our hands through water easily.
