We feel something when we scratch the wall with our nails. Why does this happen??

It is because our ears are vulnerable to the painful sound that comes out by scratching the walls with our nails. The frequency of sound that comes out from scratching the walls falls in the range of 2 kHz to 4 kHz which is considered to be painful for human ears.
