Solution

Biodiversity:

  1. Biodiversity encompasses more than individual species.
  2. It includes ecosystem diversity, species diversity, and genetic diversity.
  3. It's veritably essential to support life on earth.

It's our moral duty to care for biodiversity because:

  1. In-situ conservation of biodiversity is the conservation of species within their natural niche.
  2. During the in-situ conservation of biodiversity, the natural ecosystem is maintained and defended.
  3. Ex-situ conservation of biodiversity is the process in which the parentage and conservation of exposed species in artificial ecosystems similar to gene banks, zoos, etc.
  4. There's lower competition for food, water, and space among the organisms.
  5. Healthy ecosystems maintain our soil, clean our air, control the climate, recycle nutrients, and give us food.
  6. They offer resources and raw materials for making medications and other things.
  7. They support our economies and are the cornerstone of all civilizations.
