The bees do not have voice-boxes. Still, they produce sound.
This happens by the vibrations produced by the quick movement of their wings.

These vibrations produced by the wings of the bee creates region of compression and refraction in the surroundings.
And these compressions and rarefactions travel through air and the vibrations reaches our ear.

When sound reaches our eardrum, it vibrates and further the vibrations are amplified by our middle ear. The vibrations are converted to electrical signals by cochlea. This electrical signal is interpreted as sound by our brain.
