we know power (p) = v^2/R and p = I^2R. if it is asked to find resistance how do we know which formula to use. please explain in detail

We can find the Resistance using the formulae
P = V^2 / R
R = V^2/ P , if Voltage and Power are given

We can use the formulae P= I^2 x R
R= P/ I^2
