Question

We know that light travels does not rerequir a midium but travels through vacuum. How does light travels in vacuum or in space which hasn't have even air

Light is essentially an electro magnetic ray it does not require a particular medium to travel so even if it is vaccum propagation of light is not a problem. It travels in the form of crest and trough .
While traveling in space the light being an electromagnetic wave creates a magnetic and electric field in its vicinity, these fields are mutually perpendicular to each other.
