we know that slope of x axis is 0 and slope of y axis is infinity and x and y are perpendicular to each other than why the product of slope is not -1?

Slope of x axis = tan0 and slope of y -axis = tan90 So product of slope of = tan0×tan90= tan0×tan90+0=tan0×-cot0=tan0 ×-1tan0=-1
