Question

We should breathe through our nose only and not through our mouth. Why?

Open in App
Solution

  1. It is not correct to breathe through our mouth because most of the dust particles can enter our body along with the air we breathe in.
  2. But breathing through the nose is better because the nose has hair present in the internal lining which traps the dust particles.
  3. Also, as the air passes through the nasal passage it gets moistened and warm.
  4. Breathing through the mouth can dry your mouth which may lead to bad breath.
