Open in App
Solution

Step1: Given data

Weight of the box (W) = 49 N.

Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8m/s2.

Mass of the box (m) = ?

Step 2. Formula used

Weight=mass×gravityW=mg

Step 3. Finding the mass of the box

On, applying the formula of weight,

W=mg

49N=m×9.8m/s2m=499.8=5kg

Hence, the mass of the object is 5 Kg.
