Weight of an object in free fall is zero. Why?
Freefall is defined as the vertical motion of an object or body from a certain height, only under the influence of the earth’s gravity.
In a free fall, the weight of a body becomes effectively zero, which means there is still "weight", but it is not felt because in free fall the object cannot be able to give reaction force. Also, the gravitational force is utilized to give acceleration to the object.
