Solution

Solution:

Weight of sugar in each teaspoon = 15 grams
Number of teaspoons required for one glass of lemonade = 2.5
Total weight of sugar in each glass of lemonade = 2.5 × 15 grams
We will put back the decimal point after one point from the right.
So, 2.5 × 15 = 37.5
So, the total weight of sugar in each glass of lemonade = 37.5 grams.

Total number of glasses of lemonades = 12

Total weight of sugar in 12 glasses of lemonade = 12 × 37.5 grams

We will put back the decimal point after one point from the right.
So, 12 × 37.5 = 450.0 = 450

Thus, the total weight of sugar required to make 12 glasses of lemonade is 450 grams.
