1. This is because though Weimar Republic was formed after the First World War it accepted the humiliating and the most unpopular Versailles Treaty.

2. According to the treaty, Germany had to bear arms limitations, reparations and war guilt clause. It brought upon on itself dishonour and defeat and brought forth the fury of the German nationalists.
