Question

What adaptation do deer have to prevent them from being prayed upon

Open in App
Solution

Deers have defense in their legs. They have long legs with strong muscles and ligaments .These are the adaptations that help them sprint Upto 30 mph through wooden terrains and jump 10 feet high and 30 feet wide in one bound. This means that while predators may have to run around large obstacles, deers are able to leap over them and escape.

Apart form this, they have eyes on the sides of their heads allowing them to have a wider span of vision.
