Polar bear:

  1. Polar bear is a mammal adapted to survive in the polar icy areas of the Arctic.
  2. Their white fur gets camouflaged against the white background of snow protecting it from predators and also helping them catch their prey.
  3. In order to avoid getting overheated they move slowly and rest often.
  4. It has long, curved and sharp claws which help it to walk on ice.
  5. A layer of fat is present below the skin which protects the animal from the cold environment in the Arctic region.
