Lungs:

Lungs are the primary respiratory organs in most terrestrial animals. These are a pair of spongy, air-filled sac-like structures and are located on either side of the vertebral column in the chest cavity.

Alveoli:

Alveoli are tiny sacs that are found in the lungs. The exchange of gases takes place in the alveoli during respiration takes place. Alveoli are also known as the functional units of the lungs. There are about 700 million alveoli present in the lungs.
