1. Animal food products comprise all the different types of food that we get from animals.
   
2. Examples are milk, eggs, poultry, meat and honey.​
   
3. There are different ways of obtaining foods from animals:

Three places of obtaining animal food products:

1. Poultry: Rearing birds to obtain their eggs and meat happens in a poultry farm.
2. Dairy farming: Buffaloes, goats, cows, sheep and pigs are kept in a shed for rearing in a dairy farm.
   
3. We use these animals to obtain their milk and meat.
   
4. Milk is also used to prepare dairy products.
   
5. Pisciculture: Aquaculture includes rearing of organisms like fish, crabs, and lobsters for their meat. Aquaculture includes both freshwater and saline habitats.

Food source for animals:

Animals obtain their food from plants or other animals and it depends on the type of organism that is being reared.
