Solution

Allogamy:

  1. Allogamy refers to the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of one plant's flower to the stigma of another plant of the same species.
  2. Chasmogamy occurs when the flower opens and exposes the reproductive organs, as in Mirabilis.
  3. Cleistogamy occurs when the flowers do not open, only self-pollination occurs, as in Commelina benghalensis.

Autogamy:

  1. Autogamy is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the same flower.
  2. Unisexuality: Only allogamy is preferred in unisexual flowers.
  3. Self-sterility occurs when the pollen of a flower has no effect on the stigma of the same flower.
