Solution

  • Bones are greyish-white tissue that is made of two-thirds of inorganic substances which includes minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, etc. while one-third of it is composed of organic substances.
  • They are living growing tissues as they are supplied with nerves, blood vessels and are made of living cells (osteocytes), which help them to develop and to repair themselves.
