What are Cannabinoids ? From which plants Cannabinoids are obtained ? Which part of the body is affected by consuming these substances ?

Cannabinoids are the compounds that attaches to the cannaboid receptor and supresses the release of neurotransmitter in the brain. Most common cannabinoid is Tetrahydrocannabinols (THC). It is major constituent of plants. Mainly it is extracted from Cannabis (marijuana). It is also found in several other plant species like Echinacea purpurea, Echinacea pallida, Radula marginata etc. Several major recent findings also says that human breast milk contains some cannabinoids. Receptor of cannabinoid is present mostly in brain and brain is mostly affected.
