Colloidal solution:

  • A colloidal solution is the heterogeneous mixture of the two parts dispersed phase and dispersion medium.
  • The properties of the colloids are the intermediate between those of the Solution and the Suspension.
  • In colloidal solution, microscopically small dispersed insoluble particles are suspended throughout another substance.

Example:

  • Whipped cream, mayonnaise, milk, butter gelatin, paper, and other colloidal solutions are examples.
