Solution

Darwinian theory of evolution:

  1. Charles Darwin (1809–1882), an English naturalist, and others developed the Darwinism theory of biological evolution, which holds that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of minute, inherited variations that improve the individual's capacity for competition, survival, and reproduction.
  2. According to Darwin, evolution is the process through which species change over time, give rise to new species, and descend from a single ancestor.
  3. The fittest survive, according to Darwin's theory of evolution.
  4. Inherent traits are the foundation of fitness.
  5. Therefore, selection and evolution must have a genetic basis.
  6. In a difficult environment, some species have a better chance of surviving.
  7. Adaptability is a hereditary trait.
  8. It is genetically based.
  9. The ability to adapt and be chosen by nature is what leads to fitness.
  10. Therefore, Natural selection and Branching descent are considered to be the two key concepts of the Darwinian theory of evolution.

Natural selection

  1. Natural selection is the method by which populations of living things adapt and transform.
  2. Because a population's members are naturally diverse, each individual is unique in certain aspects.
  3. This variety indicates that some people have characteristics that are more environment-appropriate than others.

Branching descent

  1. Branching descent is the process of creating a new species from a single common ancestor.
  2. New species adapted geographically to a new environment as they developed.
  3. Reproductive isolation followed by the eventual formation of a new species were the results of this.
